DescriptionThe philanthropic arm of the fast food restaurant Company works to impact the lifesaving capabilities and lives of local heroes and their communities. The Foundation's First Responder grants Program supports efforts to provide lifesaving equipment and prevention education tools to first-responders and public-safety organizations. While the Foundation focuses its grants on areas served by the Company's restaurants, it does recognize the needs of rural and volunteer departments across the country and will consider applications outside the 60-mile guideline. Grants will be awarded in the following categories: lifesaving equipment, prevention education, scholarships and continued education, disaster relief, and support for members of the military. Eligible applicants include law enforcement, EMS units, public-safety organizations, nonprofits, and schools. Visit the Web site for more information and application instructions.
