Disabled American Veterans National Foundation

DescriptionThe Foundation provides critically needed support to disabled and at-risk veterans who leave the military wounded, physically or psychologically, after defending our safety and our freedom. The Foundation's Capacity Building grants provides funding to like-minded organizations who provide support to veterans and disabled veterans alike. Grants of up to $25,000 are awarded to organizations who are addressing the mental and physical recovery of veterans including service dogs, equine therapy, yoga, art therapy, and recreational therapy. The Foundation has two open sessions a year in which they process grants; organizations may submit their applications during these open grant sessions.
