Fit For Life Foundation

DescriptionThe Liechtenstein-based Foundation was founded by Jack Lowe, a Swiss entrepreneur and all-around athlete. The Foundation awards grants to nonprofit organizations or social enterprises that are pioneering projects aimed at promoting lifelong fitness and health. The applying organization or initiative must, as their mission and activities, directly address healthy aging for older (age 65+) adults or middle-aged (45+ years). The Foundation welcomes solutions related to physical fitness, exercise and sport, mental well-being, mobility, nutrition, at-home care, community support for older people, prevention of non-communicable diseases, and/or other forms of preventative health support. Ineligible applicants include research institutes, government/public sector institutes, political organizations, or organizations that discriminate in their leadership, staffing, or service provision on the basis of age, gender, race, ethnicity, disability, national origin, political affiliation, religious belief, or sexual orientation. The Foundation will consider applications from around the world. The Foundation awards three grants of $100,000 each. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
