DescriptionThis small Foundation funds projects that generate basic but vital information about the species alongside. Grants are awarded to support projects that are important yet typically overlooked by most funding agencies and organizations. The Foundation supports projects that relate to: collecting data that can inform plans that allow people to live alongside wildlife; communicate science to communities with the goal of reducing human/wildlife conflict; and/or evaluate and/or implement science-based strategies for living alongside wildlife populations.
