DescriptionThe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the tobacco Company. It awards grants to nonprofits throughout the United States that support the preservation, promotion, and advancement of Indian self-sufficiency and culture. Priority is given to the development of American Indian entrepreneurism; facilitating American Indian education, particularly college, graduate, and post-graduate education; and the preservation and enhancement of American Indian culture.
