Description

The Foundation supports veteran service organizations offering innovative and effective programs or treatments for service-related mental and physical injuries. It seeks to combat the mental and physical health issues facing returning military heroes and their families. Grants are awarded in the following areas: physical rehabilitation, leadership development, brain health, family support, and suicide prevention. Physical rehabilitation grants support organizations that help with expenses, physical therapy, and more. Leadership development grants help fund initiatives that provide the resources that returning leaders and their families need to hone those skills to continue to make an impact. Brain health grants support new initiatives to combat PTSD, brain injury, and other mental injuries. Family support grants provide resources for organizations that support spouses, children, and parents in managing the day-to-day.
