DescriptionMajor League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association awards Healthy Relationships Community grants that seek to address positive relationship health, with self and others. Through this Initiative, the Organizations will award grants in three areas: building and improving relationship skills of the next generation as a prevention strategy; building and improving mental health resiliency for vulnerable populations; and strengthening and providing critical services to survivors of domestic violence. Nonprofits and non-governmental organizations may apply for up to $50,000 in funding. MLB Club charities and Major League players are also encouraged to apply for up to $25,000, as part of a matching gifts program. MLB Clubs and players must provide documentation of direct funding and commitment to the issue. Additional information can be found on the Web site
