Description

The Organization's Emergency Response grant is designed to help lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people or men who have sex with men, who are struggling to get urgent access to HIV services. Activities that the grant supports include relocation of premises following forced eviction of community-based organizations or service providers that support LGBT people and their access to HIV services; post-violence psychosocial support; proving urgent HIV medication, and emergency safety measures for individuals or service providers that ensure access to HIV services can continue. Eligible applicants include organizations led by, or work with, LGBT people or men having sex with men, and be based in one of 33 eligible countries. A list of eligible countries and additional information can be found on the Web site.
