Funeral Service Foundation

DescriptionThe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the trade Association for funeral directors. It has created a Fund to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Foundation's COVID-19 Crisis Response Fund has two areas, which it will support: emergency assistance and grief support. The Fund is designed to be flexible and will provide grants for immediate needs including funeral service emergency response to significant loss of life, to organizations and resources providing service to families with unresolved and complicated grief due to loss during this crisis, and for other important needs of the funeral service profession and the families they serve. The Fund will consider proposals from both U.S. and Canadian nonprofits. The costs associated with burials, memorialization, cremations are not eligible for funding. Grant requests under $25,000 will be considered for funding. Visit the Web site to learn more.
