The Bennett Prize

Description

The Prize for women figurative realist painters is open to qualified painters, defined as a female, fine-art painter who applies paint to a generally two-dimensional surface, paints in the style in which the realistically depicted human figure or figures, is central to the work. The Prize winner should be pursuing a career as a full-time professional painter and have not yet received significant professional recognition. Artists may submit artwork of any size for jury consideration, but if selected as a finalist, the largest dimension of work submitted for the exhibition cannot exceed 72 inches. A $50 entry fee will be charged to all entrants. Additional information about the Prize and application requirements can be found on the Web site.
