Description

The Foundation is the United States arm of the Swiss pharmaceutical Company created by the merger of Ciba-Geigy and Sandoz companies. The Foundation will award grants worth between $100,000 and $250,000 each to nonprofits through its U.S. COVID-19 Community Response Fund. The Foundation is accepting proposals for programs to strengthen local and national health care infrastructure to meet increased demand and protect frontline health workers; establish digital platforms for coronavirus-related data collection; offer remote delivery of health care services and effective dissemination of important public-health information; and create or enhance new community health programs specific to the pandemic response. Priority will be given to nonprofits in California, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and North Carolina but will not be limited to those states. The Foundation expects to pay out up to $5 million through this fund this year. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
