DescriptionFounded by Barry and Dolly Segal’s desire to put an end to the needless harm of children caused by damaging environmental factors, the Foundation is committed to addressing social determinants of health that affect the health outcomes of vulnerable populations and ways to end child sexual abuse. Priority is given to small organizations affecting systemic change. Ideal candidates should have an annual budget of under $1 million; are going beyond providing services to address systemic changes in ending child sex abuse and in addressing a social injustice that affects helps. The Foundation is also interested in applicants that are regional or national in scope and/or have a model that can be replicated on a larger scale. Interested organizations should send a one-page letter introducing the mission, vision, and work of the organization, its annual budget and most recent audited financial statement or 990.
