Description

The Foundation, the American Arbitration Association-International Centre for Dispute Resolution, was established in 2015 with the purpose of funding critical projects, domestically and internationally. The Foundation supports the use and improvement of dispute resolution processes in the United States and internationally. Preference is given to programs that foster measures reducing potential escalation, as well as managing and resolving conflicts. Also of interest are programs that expand the use of dispute resolution processes tailored to the conflict; support research, education, and initiatives promoting high quality, efficient, and fair dispute resolution; increase access to justice in and through alternative dispute resolution; encourage collaborative processes to resolve public conflicts; share expertise across diverse groups and cultures and partner with others dedicated to advancing the Foundation’s mission.
