DescriptionThe Foundation concentrates its grantmaking in the area of mental retardation. The Foundation will not provide funds for capital costs, costs of equipment for projects, ongoing support, or operations of existing programs. Innovative projects, which are not supported elsewhere by public funds, are the Foundation’s funding priority. A two-page letter of inquiry is accepted throughout the year. Proposals are only accepted between July 1 and Dec. 1.
