DescriptionThe service Organization’s Awards Program gives women the resources they need to improve their education, skills, and employment opportunities. Grants are awarded to women who provide the primary financial support for their families. Recipients have the potential to receive $1,000 to $16,000 to further their education. Women are eligible to apply if they provide the primary financial support for themselves and their dependents; have financial need; is enrolled in or has been accepted to a vocational/skills training program or an undergraduate degree program; and resides in one of the Organization’s member countries or territories. These include: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Columbia, Ecuador, Guam, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Taiwan, United States, or Venezuela.
