DescriptionThe Association’s annual Quest for Quality Prize recognizes the innovation and leadership of a hospital or system in providing and improving quality health care and advancing health in communities. Hospitals and health systems eligible to apply for the award include those committed to advancing health by providing access to safe, quality, patient- and family-centered care that promotes individual and community well-being; those partnering with other community organizations and agencies to improve the health status of their communities; those developing new models of care, services, and collaboration; and those partnering with patients and families to design the patient care experience and engage them fully in their health. The Prize will award $75,000 to a single winner; $12,500 for up to two finalists, and up to four citations of merit.
