DescriptionFounded by Lois Gibbs who was living in the Love Canal neighborhood, the Center’s small grants program supports grassroots groups working on environmental health and justice issues. Priority is given to programs and projects that help grassroots community groups build their capacity. The program is designed to especially reach people from low-wealth communities and communities of color who are impacted by environmental harms.
