Description

The Fund listens to those most impacted by inequity and provides the funding, essential resources, and support they need to create lasting change and advance social, economic, and racial justice. The Fund embraces a culture of inclusion and belonging, one that seeks out and welcomes the voices of those with diverse life experiences and intersectional identities. The Fund awards capacity building and general operating grants to organizations working to improve educational opportunities for children, youth, and immigrants; promote positive youth development and prevent violence; promote social and economic justice and human and civil rights; and serve people facing medical challenges and/or with physical or cognitive disabilities. The Fund almost exclusively supports programs in eastern Massachusetts. Priority is given to small, grassroots organizations with limited ability to raise other funds. The grant cycle will open in Spring 2020. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
