DescriptionThe Foundation aids, assists, funds, equips, and provides maintenance for corporations, institutions, associations, organizations, or societies maintained for the relief and care of aged women. In addition, it funds hospitals, and research on and treatment of heart disease and cancer. Of particular interest are major teaching medical centers and local rural hospitals. Programs should reach underserved rural and urban groups, advocate preventive care, present strategies to change the behaviors of the people served, and promote humanistic medicine and mind-body-spirit connections in the healing process. Organizations in New Jersey, the Northeast, and Mid-Atlantic states are eligible to apply.
