Pillars Fund

DescriptionThe Fund is dedicated to harnessing the wealth in the American Muslim community to build power and create influence around the issues that are most important to the community. The Fund aspires to put an end to bigotry, xenophobia, and other divisive tactics that keep the U.S. nation apart. The Fund supports organizations across the United States that address the following issues: Rights (with a focus on social and policy change efforts that protect and expand the human and civil rights of us all); Wellness, (with a focus on the growth and nurturing of whole, healthy American Muslim communities); and Understanding (with a focus on amplifying American Muslim voices and creating a deeper understanding of American Muslims. The Fund approaches its work through three main program areas: grantmaking, narrative change, and thought leadership. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
