DescriptionThe Foundation’s Domestic Public Policy program supports projects that will help the public and policy makers understand and address critical challenges facing the United States. The Foundation’s major grantmaking goal is to support projects that help stimulate and inform important public policy debates. Funding supports research and evaluation of existing public policies as well as projects that inject new ideas into public debate. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, school reform, public finance and regulation, child care, child welfare, and the criminal justice system. Applicants are asked to submit concept papers no longer than 3 to 5 pages. A template of a concept paper and additional information is available online.
