Description

The Foundation, created by one of the original founders of the Schering-Plough Corporation, the makers of Dr. Scholl’s foot products and Coppertone sunscreen, strives to meet the needs of individuals and nonprofits in the Shelby county and Memphis, Tenn., community. Grants have recently been awarded in the following areas: K-12 and higher education; family violence prevention; crime prevention; homelessness; substance abuse and mental health; arts expansion and sustainability; parks, trails, and other quality of life amenities; health care delivery systems; anti-hunger and food desert elimination.
