DescriptionThe Foundation awards annual Capacity Building grants to help meet the evolving needs of nonprofits in communities that the Bank serves. The Foundation views capacity building as an activity that brings a nonprofit to the next level of operational, programmatic, financial, or organizational maturity. Examples of projects that will be considered include the development of a communications strategy, improving program design, enhancing volunteer recruitment, strengthening corporate partnership, upgrading technology, and offering professional development. Organizations located in the Bank’s service areas of Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Vermont must submit an application through an online portal. The Foundation will award nine $5,000 grants. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
