Clark And Ruby Baker Foundation

Category

: Regional

Description

The Foundation was established to address a variety of charitable concerns. Because the family cared deeply about the Methodist Church, it created the Foundation to support Methodist affiliated, higher educational institutions in rural or small towns; charitable organizations that serve infirm, deserving, and aged ministers; economically disadvantaged and deserving children; and orphans and orphanages. The Foundation also provides support to charitable organizations that extend financial aid to the sick and infirm receiving medical treatment in any hospital or clinic in the state of Georgia. The Foundation also provides capital support for the construction of educational facilities at a college or university; clinics or hospitals; libraries; or any building with a charitable use may be considered. The Georgia office of Bank of America administers the Foundation. Some additional information can be found on the Web site.
