Description

The Foundation, created by the late actress Elizabeth Taylor, provides grants to existing organizations for domestic and international programs that offer direct care services to people living with HIV and AIDS. Since its inception, the Foundation has concentrated on supporting marginalized communities, and has expanded to also fund innovative HIV education and advocacy groups. Domestic funding is by invitation only; a link on the Web site offers nonprofits an opportunity to introduce themselves to the Foundation with the hopes of being invited to apply in the future. Internationally, the Foundation is focused only on the southern region of Malawi. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
