DescriptionThe Foundation, established by film director Steven Spielberg, focuses its grantmaking on projects that revitalize Jewish life, help youth to learn about Judaism, and promote tolerance among all peoples of faith and ethnicities. Of particular interest are projects that explore new ideas and opportunities with a special emphasis on young people. The Foundation is also interested in projects that may have otherwise had a difficult time obtaining funding. Preference is given to projects that are national in scope or that can serve as models.
