Category: Disabilities
DescriptionThe Foundation serves people with psychiatric and/or developmental disabilities. The Foundation’s mission is to provide education and advocacy for people with psychiatric and/or developmental disabilities so that they can achieve equal opportunities in all aspects of life. The Foundation currently accomplishes its mission through two programs: Advocacy and Public Awareness and Education. Grants are awarded in support of programs, projects, or general operating expenses related to advocacy, education, vocational, or other areas of particular interest including full-scale legal representation where there currently is a void in such representation for the disabled population. New applicants are asked to submit a letter of intent. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
