Description

The Foundation seeks to promote the prevention of cruelty to animals and for the study, care, protection, and preservation of animals, both domestic and wild, and their environment. The Foundation also provides scholarships for deserving students to assist them in the study of veterinary medicine at any institution of higher education in the state of Texas. Colleges and universities in the state of Texas that offer veterinary medicine and other animal and animal life programs as well as those that schools that offer research projects involving ecological, environmental, and wildlife studies are also eligible to apply. Grants for educational purposes are limited to the state of Texas; grants for the prevention of animal cruelty as well as the care, protection, and preservation of animals both domestic and wild are awarded nationwide. The Foundation is administered by Wells Fargo Bank. Some additional information can be found on the Web site.
