Description

Founded by hotel magnate Conrad N. Hilton, the Fund supports the apostolic work of Roman Catholic women religious. The Fund provides both international and domestic grants. International grants focus on women and children; education/communications; healthcare/HIV; clean water/food and agriculture; immigration/refugee services, and anti-trafficking. Domestic grants address women and children; literacy; homelessness; immigration/refugee services; and anti-trafficking. The Fund encourages applications that reflect the emerging priorities of alternative energy/communication infrastructure and environmental issues affecting quality of life. Details about each of the grant programs as well as criteria about the requirements for the participation of vowed women religious in the programs as well as additional information can be found on the Web site.
