DescriptionThe insurance Company’s Fire Prevention grant program focuses on fire prevention, preparedness, and control efforts throughout the U.S. and internationally. Fire departments and brigades, as well as national, state, regional, local, and community organizations can apply for funding to support a wide array of fire prevention, preparedness, and control efforts. Grants are awarded for pre-incident planning, fire prevention education/graining, and arson prevention/fire investigation. Any organization or agency around the world that supports fire prevention can apply for a Fire Prevention grant; however funds must be used for public purposes. Funding requested for salaries; motor-powered vehicles such as fire apparatus, automobiles, and off-road vehicles; building projects; and equipment or training related to fire suppression will not be considered.
