The Kendrick Foundation

Category

: Religion

Description

The Foundation was established to promote the dissemination of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The majority of funds are distributed to charitable organizations that spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ in America by radio or television broadcasts or by such other medium (electronic or otherwise) as the trustees may deem to be a feasible approximation to radio or television broadcasting in light of then-existing technology. Preference is given to financially sound organizations that demonstrate the ability to reach a large radio or television audience, audiences reached through electronic devices, or audiences without previous access to programming. A substantial portion of each year’s grants is made for the purchase of broadcast and recording equipment. The Foundation is managed by the Massachusetts office of Bank of America. Some additional information including an online application can be found on the Web site.
