The Overbrook Foundation
Category: General
DescriptionThe Foundation supports projects both domestically and internationally related to the environment and human rights. The environment program seeks to develop better consumption and production habits in the United States and in Brazil, Mexico, and Ecuador. Latin American projects should conserve the planet’s dwindling biodiversity. The human rights program supports the components of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, including the declaration’s political, economic, and social portions. The Foundation also has a focus on reproductive health and rights, LGBT rights, trafficking of people, and other sexuality issues. There is no deadline; the board meets three times a year to evaluate proposals.
