DescriptionThe Foundation APN and DNP Student Fellowship Program provides support to students enrolled in a Master of Science in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice program with the goal of heling them accomplish work in the areas of cancer prevention, care, or control; supporting their capstone project or thesis in oncology; and advancing evidence-based practice in oncology care. Priority projects must be in one of the following content areas: interventions to adopt/maintain health behaviors; interventions to increase cancer screening, with emphasis on underserved/understudied populations; cancer-related symptoms and side effects; late effects of cancer treatment; end of life care; psychosocial and family care; nursing sensitive patient outcomes, and translation science.
