DescriptionThe Foundation supports emerging and unmet needs within the field of aging. The Foundation focuses its grantmaking on four areas: enabling older adults to remain in their homes and communities; improving the treatment of late-life depression; developing innovative responses to the family caregiving needs of older adults; and expanding the health care and broader workforce needed to care for, and serve, the rapidly growing and aging population. The Foundation has a special focus on California, but will also consider demonstration projects with potential for replication in California or those that have a regional and/or national impact.
