DescriptionThe Organization is the national professional, scientific, and credentialing association for audiologists; speech-language pathologists; speech, language and hearing scientists; audiology and speech-language pathology support personnel; and students. The Organization’s Multicultural Activities grants program supports projects designed to bring multicultural components to its clinical, educational, and professional programs and the activities of allied/related associations and organizations. Multi-cultural is defined to include issues dealing with race, ethnicity, national origin, culture, language, dialect, gender, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, religion, and ability. Preference will be given to projects that support the Organization’s Envisioned Future: 2025 and its Pathway to Excellence programs; advance interprofessional education/interprofessional practice; and/or result in a tangible product, program, resource, etc. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
