DescriptionThe Fund is the philanthropic arm of AgStar Financial Services. It focuses its grantmaking on programs in geographic areas where the Company has significant business presence and on programs that fit strategically with the intent of the Company’s clients and their communities in which they live. Grants will be awarded in the following areas: education, environment, technology, and quality of life. Education grants seek to educate young, beginning, or future farmers. Environment grants seek to maintain or improve the quality of the rural environment. Technology grants support the advancement and utilization of technology for the benefit of farmers and rural communities. Quality of Life grants support programs and initiatives that enhance the quality of life for farmers and rural communities. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
