Category: Animals & Wildlife

The Foundation’s Memorial Bear Fund honors the work of to biologists and two pilots who were killed in work-related accidents while conducting bear research in northwest Wyoming. Grants are awarded for Wyoming-based research, habitat protection, and education projects related to any species of bear in the state. Priority will be given to projects with matching funds, established partnerships, management relevance, highest impact, and appropriate budget. Applications from out-of-state organizations will be considered if the project they’re proposing is clearly linked to Wyoming’s wildlife. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
