DescriptionThe Group’s Roslyn S. Jaffe Awards recognize the lifelong contributions of Roslyn S. Jaffe, co-founder of the first dressbarn store in 1962 and director emeritus of the Ascena Retail Group, Inc. The Award Program gives financial awards to everyday heroes who are making the world a better place for women and children, specifically in the areas of health, education, social reform, and esteem. Nominees must legal residents of one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia; must be at least 18 years old on the date of nomination, and the creator or founder of a social impact organization. The nominated organization’s programming must benefit U.S. women and/or children. Additional details can be found on the Web site.
