DescriptionThe Foundation works to improve the health of Americans by catalyzing creative, workable solutions to pressing healthcare challenges in the United States. Part of its mission includes supporting timely health care journalism that informs efforts to improve the health of Americans and that examines emerging health issues and their implications with respect to cost, quality, and access. The Foundation’s Health Care Journalism Project grants support health reporting, educational opportunities for health care reporters, and support for documentary films and associated public engagement campaigns. The deadline is for letters of inquiry. Eligible applicants include individual journalists as well as nonprofit and for profit entities. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
