Description

The Foundation’s mission is to improve the quality of life for those living with spinal cord injury and to support scientific exploration for effective therapies and treatments leading to a cure. The Foundation’s Quality of Life Program supports nonprofits offering projects designed to enhance the lives of people living with a spinal cord injury throughout the United States. Priority is given to assistive technology, education, employment, independent living, rehabilitation, and sports and recreation. The Program has three funding categories: project grants, network programs, and sustainable impact projects. Project grants support services and projects benefitting participants with spinal cord injury including purchase of essential equipment. This is an open competition. The other two funding categories are by invitation only. Details on all of the categories and additional information can be found on the Web site.
