DescriptionThe Society promotes excellence in sculpture that’s inspired by the natural world. The Society’s Dexter Jones award is presented annually to a sculptor for an outstanding work of sculpture in bas-relief. Competitors must be between the ages or 18 and 39 (born between 1977 and 1998). All applicants must be citizens of or residents of the United States and have a Social Security number. Grants are open to sculptors of any sex, ethnicity, or religion. Priority is given to the use of figurative or realist sculpture. The winning work will be in bas-relief.
