DescriptionThe Organization, along with the NFL Foundation, is committed to enhancing the football experience of all players at the youth and amateur levels. The Organization, the sport’s national governing body, and a member of the U.S. Olympic Committee, has issued a call for applications from youth, middle school, and high school football programs for proposals supporting the purchase of football equipment and automated external defibrillators as well as field building efforts. Equipment grants cover the cost of new equipment, uniforms, equipment reconditioning, and flag football equipment. Automated External Defibrillator grants will be awarded to five football programs that they can keep onsite for use in the event of a cardiac emergency. Eight field-building grants will be awarded to municipalities, school systems, and tax-exempt youth leagues based on merit and need. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
