Hospice And Palliative Nurses Foundation

DescriptionThe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association. The Foundation’s Certification Research Grant program seeks to provide resources for investigators to conduct exploratory, pilot, or feasibility studies that lead to larger scale projects linking palliative nursing certification with patient outcomes. Studies done in the acute care setting suggest that care environments with a higher proportion of certified nurse have better patient outcomes. Eligible projects must be ready for implementation by the time the grant is received. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
