Mckenzie Foundation
Category: Environment
DescriptionGrantmaking is targeted toward education, health, human services, cultural, and environmental concerns. The foundation's belief is that assisting families is one of the most effective and lasting ways to strengthen communities. It supports four initiatives to achieve that goal: early childhood development, education that enriches learning for all ages, the environment, and arts and culture. Of particular interest are creative projects and programs that can serve as catalysts in their field and have an impact, and those that will continue on after the specific proposal has been completed. Letters of inquiry requested. Applications are reviewed all year.
