The Wounded Warrior Project

DescriptionThe Project serves veterans and service members who received a physical or mental injury, illness, or would, co-incident to their military service on or after Sept. 11, 2001, and their families. The Project provides financial support to nonprofits that provide direct programming and services to this generation of wounded veterans. The Project’s program grants enables it to work with various organizations to provide programming that meets the needs of the population in specific geographic regions of the country where existing services are limited and to fill in the gaps in services. The Project has two grant cycles each year. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
