DescriptionThe Foundation focuses its grantmaking in two areas: assisting organizations that work to increase awareness of hunger as a critical problem and/or delivering food resources to meet critical short-term needs and supporting efforts to change underlying structural obstacles and incentives that hinder efforts to bring sustainable practices into the mainstream. The Foundation understands community food resources to encompass a web of issues related to hunger, including poverty, community development, and economic policy. The Foundation only accepts letters of inquiry for matching grants and partnerships in its stated areas of interest at this time.
