DescriptionThe Foundation supports a variety of scientific and environmental programs with a sole emphasis on ocean conservation. The Foundation looks for bold new ideas and people with the skills and determination to make a deep, lasting, and sustainable difference throughout the world and in daily living. The Rapid Ocean Conservation Grants Program, a Foundation project, provides small grants with a quick turnaround time for solutions to emerging conservation issues. This program complements the Foundation’s existing major grants program and is responsive to conservation opportunities, supports higher-risk ideas at a low financial cost, and engages with small, local non-governmental organizations on a global scale. Grants will fund projects related to the Foundation mission of supporting sustainable fishing and marine protected areas. Grants are awarded for scientific research, policy, management, and communications. Details about the ROC grants and other programs can be found on the Web site. Applications are only accepted online.
