DescriptionThe Foundation’s mission is to foster children’s literacy by providing grants to school libraries serving disadvantaged youth. Grants are awarded to public, private, and experimental schools throughout the United States. All funds must be used to purchase books and cannot be used to buy technology or audiovisual equipment.
