Foundation Beyond Belief
Category: Community
DescriptionThe Foundation was founded to demonstrate humanism at its best by supporting efforts to improve this world and this life, and to challenge humanists to embody the highest principles of humanism, including mutual care and responsibility. Through its Compassionate Impact grant program, the Foundation will support the capacity of organizations working to develop or broaden potentially transformative, evidence-informed, social innovations that solve critical community problems. One grant, between $50,000 to $65,000, will be awarded to a United States nonprofit for the purpose of increasing its capacity to serve those in need and create solutions for doing so. Applicants will be assessed on their ability to provide evidence-driven, novel solutions that reach different or larger number of constituents. Priority will be given to nonprofits whose work impacts low-income communities and targets one or more of the Foundation’s priority topics for the United States: economic opportunity, healthy lifestyles, and youth development, and/or other countries: economic opportunity, education, and health care. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
