DescriptionThe Council’s Safety Grants Program encourages and provides financial support for agricultural safety and health interventions at the local and/or regional level in order to facilitate timely application of evidence-based safety and health strategies to protect agricultural workers. Each year, the grant program’s theme directs the grantmaking priority. Applicants are expected to be engaged in agricultural-related production, education/training, and/or research. Membership in the Council is not required, but is encouraged. Preference is given to projects that are not typically funded by state/federal grants.
